FOCUS ON:

The wines from Mount Etna wines are inexpensive, compelling and are already gaining huge interest worldwide for their quality and style.

These high altitude wines (from vines at 600-900 metres) on the north slopes of Mount Etna are made in small volumes and display wonderful ripe (often red) fruit, freshness, medium body, complexity and elegance.

FOR ORDERS MADE BEFORE 15th April we will give you a 10% DISCOUNT.

The entry level Etna Rosso (Red) and Rosato (Rose) wines are approachable in their youth while the single vineyard wines will age gracefully over the next 10 years and more, but also can be drunk in their youth if decanted and left to breathe for an hour or so.

I cannot speak highly enough of these outstanding wines and encourage all our clients and readers of this article to try them.  Visit our Italian Region section to gain further information and prices for Mount Etna Wines.

Monica Larner from The Wine Advocate has rated the Russo Rosato 2013 as the best Rose in Italy.

If you like red Burgundy wines, you will really enjoy these Etna wines especially in terms of quality/price comparison!
